Cyberpunk 2077’s Mac 2.3 build has reached native 2D gameplay on M2 Apple Vision Pro. Hands-on testing confirmed aiming and firing, WASD movement, arrow-key turning, keyboard and pointer input, and a resizable window. Native output drawables measured 1280 × 720. The current game runs locally on the headset.

A home for the workflow

The dedicated Cyberpunk repository now collects setup instructions, exact build inputs, troubleshooting and VR research. Start with the README’s install quick start.

The Visirupt engine contains the compatibility adapters and automation. The website and News are maintained separately, keeping the engine focused on porting work.

What the automation verifies

The pipeline prepares private copies of the matching user-owned game and builds the authored providers from source. It checks original identities, binary sections, imports and initializers; hashes stage artifacts; resumes transfers from native checkpoints; and requires explicit signing, device and transport selectors.

Local validation covered 102 Python checks, receiver and writer-lease fixtures, all 110 original asset identities, fresh ten-framework preparation and verification, cache resume, and unsigned native builds. The source CI passed Python 3.11, Python 3.14 and receiver checks. These results establish preparation and fixture behavior; they are not gameplay benchmarks or proof of a fresh headset installation.

The next acceptance gates

A normally provisioned build, the new CLI’s physical transfer and container-preserving update, and independent reproduction on a second Mac/headset remain pending. Audio, saves and relaunch, extended stability and measured gameplay performance still need explicit acceptance records.

Bring your own compatible Mac game copy and Apple development setup. Preserve existing assets and installation provenance; never uninstall the receiver as a retry. Unknown manual installation ownership stops for a migration decision. Read the full automation guide before acting on a device.

VR remains research

The working game is currently a flat native window. Integrating the game camera with headset pose, independent stereo views and spatial input remains active research. A separate synthetic immersive scene does not establish Cyberpunk VR gameplay.
